I stayed at this place twice on my holiday and loved it both times. The rooms were great, had plenty of room and lockers for your stuff. Location was fantastic right near the train station and easy to find. All the staff were really really helpful and always friendly especially Nas he was great and remembered me the second time that I came back.

nice hostel, but the worst internet in Europe! They don't let you cook any more in the kitchen.

I stayed at the Hostel Alessandro Palace in July of 2010. I was there at a great time, during the World Cup Final! I loved the bar atmosphere and the World Cup watching parties. At the time, the elevator was being renovated and they were having problems with their air conditioning. However, the hostel itself is very nice and a short walk from the main Termini metro station. One staff member in particular, Márcio, was very friendly and loved to meet the travelers! If you're looking for a fun hostel in Rome that is a great place to meet people but isn't too much of a party (a place you can have fun but actually get some sleep!), this is the place for you!
